Debbie was knowledgeable about the market, timely returned all of my calls and gave me excellent customer service.
Debbie was very friendly and personable with my family and together with her real estate experience helped lower the stress of buying a home.
As a young professional woman moving into California, I was looking for an agent with not only real estate knowledge, but friendly with experience. Debbie has it all!
In CA, generally the commission paid by the seller to list their home is 6% of the sales price. The listing agent will split this commission with the buying agent, and both agents have to share their commissions with their Brokers.
However, there is no commission percentage set in stone by law. In fact, the Sherman Antitrust Act prevents any price fixing of commission rates. Still, a 6% commission has been the local custom in the state of CA for decades.
Yes. To obtain low-income housing you can either go through the Department for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or Section 8 housing in the state of CA.
To qualify, your yearly income must be below a certain level. Income limits are established annually by HUD, based on the annual median income for the area. If you are applying for low-income housing, the local authority will check your income using tax returns and pay stubs, to verify that you are eligible for the program.
I have over 30-years home loan and real estate experience, so please give me a call to further explain the low-income housing process to you.
Currently, I am not involved in the rental aspect of real estate, however, I have lived in the Santa Barbara area for my entire life and know the housing area very well.
Therefore, I would be happy to answer any of your rental questions and give you a referral and lead you in the right direction.
I understand. Dealing with a landlord can be quite difficult and emotional sometimes.
Since landlord/tenant issues are currently governed by CA state law and because I am not an attorney, I cannot lawfully give you any advice about your current issue.
However, I can give you a referral to a good landlord/tenant attorney or direct you to Internet articles concerning landlord/tenant law to hopefully answer your questions.
Currently, I am not active in the commercial aspect of real estate. However, I would be happy to give you a referral to an experienced commercial real estate agent. Thank you for your question.
